Cycle whore thread
I like the look of both pipes but i hear the build quality on that specific Jardine pipe is somewhat suspect. Search for reviews on the Jardine GP1.
You already have an exhaust so why not spend your money elsewhere, like steel braided lines or track days or rearsets.

Anyone ever order a chain kit from motomummy?
I want the normal -1 +2 but they aren't giving me an option for the correct amount. They said stock it has 48 teeth on the rear so naturally I'd need 50. However, they only have the option for up to 49. Am I missing something totally obvious?

You might want to just try either the -1 or +2 by itself before doing them both. Most other bikes go from a 16 in the front and a 45 or 46 in the rear and do the -1 +2.. but the rear of the R6 is already 48.
I think there was a thread about how the R6's stock sprockets are normally what the other 600's upgrade to.
Edit... yea.. I would just try the -1 first... This is the post I was talking about.
... I am not positive but I am pretty sure that the R6 comes with one of the biggest stock rear sprockets on a SS. 48T sprocket.
From the looks of it.. and I know that the front sprocket has something to do with it as well...
But
05 R6.............- 16T front / 48T rear sprocket
05 GSXR 600...- 16T front / 45T rear sprocket
05 ZX6R..........- 15T front / 43T rear sprocket
05 CBR 600RR..- 16T front / 42T rear sprocket

you can't compare sprocket sizes on different makes/models of bikes, it really doesn't mean much. The internal trans gearing is different between different bikes.
Oh, and I may be making the leap back into sportbike wrenching here soon

I think it something like 6200 rpm @ 70 mph. And on the R6 forum.. guys talk about it being closer to 7100 rpm @ 70 mph. Most dont like it (cause the bike sounds like its screaming when you just cruising)... but its whatever.. dont really give a shit if anybody takes my advice anyways, just thought I would be nice and throw it out there.
I would try looking on the R6 forums and see what they say on there. Its been a while since I have looked into sprockets... cause I just decided that I was gonna either stick with my stock sprocket or go down in the rear with a 45T R1 rear sprocket. Makes the bike alot more managable at full throttle with a 45T in the rear (to me atleast)
