I'm not sure of the numbers, but I doubt there are even that many Rallyes stateside. There are only about 8 mk1 Polos/Derbys here. There is a cat that had an illegally imported Rallye and it was under an 'export or destroy' order and is currently being built into an American version (all Rallye specific parts were stripped and are being placed onto a US chassis/body incl all AWD comps and floorboard, flared fenders, front end, etc...). They guy is dropping MASSIVE amounts of time/money into it.

Well thanks for enjoying my Rallye and Audi maybe I can get some pics of the Audi up here. There might be about 15 or so Rallyes in the states but I am not sure about the real numbers. Both cars are fun and in my opinion are good examples of nice Euro's.....which there are many of around here. If everyone remembers back to the VAdriven winter meet the euro's had a good showing!!! Thanks again for the nice comments on my cars!!

We need to do that again. I did feel like an outcast at the VAD meet, but I'm a recluse anyway. Next time there's a big thing, I'll go for sure.

I'm 100% sure my doesn't do much of shit will beat a b16(or 18) with equal mods. Hell my doesn't do much of shit kept up with a boosted prelude. The only good honda engine are the K series, the F series, and the C series. The others are crap and outdated and don't do shit n/a

he knows what he's talking about? Saying the head design is the reason for tq loss? wow..... fucking wow.... Seriously? Given I'm not a engine person, but I do know my way around a block. It's not rocket science.....
To the last thing you said, it was a over-generalized statement. I never said head design causes torque loss... wtf? It's not rocket sciene? Well damn, next time I'm building a motor for someone, I want you to come over and help me on the tolerances.

Also. I'll put money on it that my car with my intake vs your car with just a intake would be interesting. Hell, you could have your chip in(and I'm not stupid, I know a chipped 1.8t is a different monster.)

I'm just a b18.

I don't like leather so I see no need for heated seats. Although I did like my dads suede heated seats in his IS300. The reason I stick to Honda is the simplicity of everything. Can you say VWs are easy to work on if something goes wrong. (i'm talking newer ones)

BTW, alot of people consider F and H series motors junk. Then others swear by them. B-series motors are not outdated as most of your sfwd cars are using them and not K's. People are still discovering the potential of B-Series motors and for the bang-to-buck ratio, you cannot beat it.(k is really really expensive to do)

What is it? I think it looks pretty neat.

Rallye's are AWD factory supercharged (1.8l G60 4cyl) Golf IIs. They came with full Recaro interior, factory steel square flared fenders, and uprated Rallye specific grills/lights. They were kinda like the Skyline of Germany. They're hard to find even in Europe and they never made it to the US so a few peeps (like Steve) had one imported. The one above is now rockin a VR6 Turbo and is secks on wheels.

There is some sort of race heritage as well, but I'm not sure what the story is on that.

oh yeah, talking about people revving. and how VW guys blow off at people. yesterday on my nice peacefull way home from work, on holland road right by the wawa, there was this white EG with bronze rota style wheels. he had a JDM lip, JDM fogs, JDM whale wing. Anyhow. this d-bag tried to race me from wawa all the way down by my house next to carspa, He was weaving in and out of traffic, trying to catch me. Then when he did, he was "drafting" on my ass i guess, and swerving back and forth in the lane, (warming up his tires). This is the type of shit i cannot stand, so there are D-bags on both sides of the spectrum. not once did i look at him. or acknowledge that he was there ... stupid tard
