Do you know anything more about this guy? I've seen him like 4 times, but never when I'm in the right car to run with him.

Also, figured I'd post here since I am in Williamsburg, have not yet posted in this thread, and it feels like I'm the only car guy in the area except for one of my neighbors.

 

If I had a ferrari I'd drive it just to drive it too I doubt he's looking for attention. Hell I drive just to drive with my car right now.

 

Wow bump from the dead... I see a guy in a black lambo a lot, as well as a black Maserati (with Fords Colony stickers on them).... Same dude since I drove by his house a few times and he parked his lambo outside... however that works.

im the only one on the east cost with a lowered red convertible saab with an exhaust, etc... so its not like you can miss it

 

Hmmm, I live on Monticello, just past the Ukrops. I don't know that I've ever seen you. If you ever see a blue 80s Mercedes S-class that's making WAY more noise than you'd except, wave.

 

my family owns european cars of williamsburg
i always make my way down 199 to go to work
so if i see it i deff will acknowledge somehow
and there was never an "S-class" mercedes in the 80's


well i guess you could clasify the SEL's and SEC's as "S-classes"

 

Actually, SE (1985), and yes it is an S-Class. In fact, if you're interested, I'll show you the 1985 brochure I have that calls it an S-Class.

So...European Cars? That looks like a nice shop (drive by it on the way to Sonic), but when I call to get a pricing quote I always have a hard time being understood (which could be my fault since I am typically multi-tasking when on the phone). What would you guys charge to change the window regulator slider (I have the part) if I bring it to you uninstalled from the car (I don't have a drill so I can't do it myself)? That is, I hand the tech a window regulator with a broken slider and he hands me back a regulator with a replaced slider, so no removal/installation involved.

Also, do you have a way to check the alignment, i.e. not correct it but just tell me where it is so I can decide what adjustments I want made (I don't want to do it to factory spec, I'm willing to give up some stability for a sharper turn in)?

Also, do you have a guy there who can make nice clean welds? I want to replace my current 5x10x22 Bassani muffler with a 4x8x22 so it will mount flush.

Finally, do you have a Hunter Roadforce Balancer and the two-piece Mercedes wheel weights?

BTW, SE is Sonderklasse Einspritzen, SEL is Sonderklasse Einspritzen Lang, and SEC is Sonderklasse Einspritzen Coupe, hence, S-Klasse, hence S-Class.
