I believe one of those yellow straps helped save/got my arse and Jeep up slick rock not to long ago..

 

junkyard sucks. no tow hooks. and 2 hitches i found were unobtainable. they set the trucks down on the hitches and i had no one with me to lug a crane 300ft over and help lift it

 

bought a truck toolbox off craigslist, went to wal mart and picked up a 5.25inch drop hitch reciever and a 2 inch ball today (moving wednesday and gonna throw a u-haul behind my truck)

some ratcheting tie downs, bungee cords, etc...

also had the truck washed by a bunch of high school girls jumping around in bikini's that oogled and awed all over the truck.....

i'd say it's been a successful day.

 

I can't go on the 17th...second job is gonna be busy and need me to come in.

as long as you have 4x4, even if the fronts open, you should be fine. the water side was 4x2 friendly. by the dunes is where itd be a little nasty. but after all the rain it should all be easy now.

are you still planning for tomorrow? or is it next sunday only?

 

We are having our third M&G that weekend, sorry. Won't be there.

If your diesel gets stuck in OBX, it's broken. People dig themselves into the sand down there and easily pull themselves out.
