"I've seen" is key to that statement. People have been running Vette and F-body wheels on V-dubs for a while though.

I've seen plenty of VWs with Corvette wheels, but 9 times out of 10 it was a MKIV with C4 wheels.

 

True, which is why that car, with those wheels is worthy of this thread.

I'm just saying that it's not some new epic thing he discovered.

I want to see an Audi on ZR1 wheels.

dude, there has been like 10 MKV's and tons and tons of MKIV's with vette wheels, granet they weren't the c6 vette wheels, but many of sawblades have been run, along with c5 vette wheels, if vortex was not blocked on my work comp i'd blow this thread up with vette wheel'd MKV's and MKIV's ... but if you notice on that MKV they use 4 front vette wheels, because the rears are too wide for a MKV to run. without having a substantial amount of poke and stretch, so unfort. it loses a little bit up respect from me in that aspect.

Well, since I don't own a VW I obviously don't sit on VWvortex and other VW forums all day and find pics.
