damn dude, ur one lucky mofo...i was thinkinga bout getting a bike, but the theft deal im not too sure about...i nkow you can get theft coverage, but does that cover the whole value of the bike if it gets stolen, and yes, sircrx is right about liability. if oyu put it on a suzuki card, or honda card, you can get liabilty insurance, or if you pay the bike off with a personal loan...i almost bought one from sunrise cycles on sat. but decided i didnt wanna spend 9k on my first bike

You said you went to mcdonalds with your bike the night it was stolen. This wouldn't happen to be the mcdonalds on mercury where all those guys with bikes hang out is it? if so, i'd bet my next paycheck they had something to do with it. I don't even have a bike but i've heard from several friends that ride that some of the guys up there just hang out up there to scope out bikes. they find out where you live through casual conversation and then go get your bike. one of the guys i work with hangs out up there from time to time and he said there's several guys that come up there that steal bikes. when someone new comes up there they talk to them and act all friendly just to find out where they stay then they go look for it.

 

I've heard that too from several people. Another person I know that had an 04 gsxr stolen was just called yesterday because it was recovered

 

these guys should literally buy lottery tickets. doesn't seem like it's very often that stolen motorcycles are recovered.

 

no its not very often that you recover a stolen bike but they are catching a lot of the ppl that have been steeling them recently

yes that would be that mcdonalds but someone had to have followed me home because i dont let anyone know where i live and i (dont think) didnt see anyone follow me home but that could very well be who stole it because i hear of a lot of thta being up at that mcdonalds. i wish i could find out where all the bikes they steal go so i could help get them back to the ppl who lost them but im just lucky i got mine back without much damage.

i was telling a guy at work about this today, and he said he chills up there...and he said he talked to you...he knew exactly who i was talking about when i told him a black and orange GXR...hes a black guy named chad...he had an 03 GXR...its white and blue
