Basically what it comes down to is that I think I'm going to get a Pilot. If you (any of you) have reasons why I shouldn't get a Pilot, please speak up. I don't know to terribly much about them.

Hey, I have a little bit of experience in this realm . Ive owned a 98 Explorer, an 00 Land Rover Discovery and my current 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hands down, the best is my Jeep. My Explorer was nothing but problems and I hear it hasnt gotten better with the new ones. Avoid Ford. Land Rovers have optional 7 seating, 2 jump seats in the back. Its unstoppable, has high seating and is luxurious, but at 70k miles it started falling apart. Traded it in rather than spend $2g on rear wheel bearings. I rented a Trailblazer and thought it was chintzy, plasticky and underpowered. If you want 7 seats and want an SUV, get either a 4Runner or a Pilot. Stay foreign. I will never buy another American made car except a Ford truck or Jeep.

There is a 1998 LX470 for sale out here for like $23k. I hate trading my 2000 model year for an older vehical though. We'll see, I have a feeling I'm going to end up with a Pilot.
ive driven probably over 100 different pilots in my life... and i love em. the only problem that i ever had a customer call me about was the radio wouldnt come on.
lots of resale, honda reliability, and everything you need in an SUV.
