Pretty sure the crate motor is about 18K or so. Then a tranny. Then he would have to custom make mounts, and it is a bigger motor. And I hear they aren't responding well to boost. So it would have to built. Then it would blow the rear off. So it would have to be backhalved with a solid rear. He is looking at about $75,000 including the car. Sounds like a winner.

If that's the case, I hope he isn't really planning on getting a large lump sum. Only way I'm aware of that he could get a huge portion of money like that from a private party (a kid, none the less), is if that kid had a personal umbrella/liability policy for situations like that--which I'm sure he doesn't. That would take care of the financial aspect of a personal lawsuit if he were to lose in court.

 

I don't know the story. But I doubt he gets anything.

 

nah, the process with court and all still working its way. But doctor bills and missing work kinda hurts because bills still need to be payed. But if i do get some money out of the deal, im going to take care of my buddies that been there for me, and some other things.
