Ever since that red toy bimmer, every picture of an old bimmer looks like a toy car and I don't trust it!!

He won't need anywhere near a 2" pull to fit those wheels. I'm pretty confident I know the look terry's going for as far as fitment goes. He'll be able to pull it off on stock fenders.
I've seen plenty of Miata's and the ones I posted had +0 offsets (7" wide) and they are poking over one inch. It'll take nearly 2" to put his wheels under the fenders. If they aren't under (fit in the wheel well with the suspension compressed) I dont' think it's very practical for daily driving.

hahahaha that's funny, I duuno if you've ever seen my ride height.... however, my tires are plenty tucked under the fender, and umm I have FULL suspension travel. It's called having decent coilovers, you know they make coilovers these days where ride height is adjusted INDEPENDENT of spring preload? It's amazing, it's like you can totally have your car low as shit and still have full suspension travel... OMG so impractical!

However, you don't have any experience fitting wheels like that on a miata or processing fenders to fit wheels period, on any car. So, you must be right! I mean that whats all the popular guys on the forum say!

Then again, you've never daily driven a car like that, and ummm I do...

Not to mention practicallity is VERY subjective. I thought -8 degree's of camber on the rear and -4.5 up front on my Q45 was perfectly practical, necessary? maybe, maybe not. Practical? yes.
