My set up was a 306 with AFR 165 61 cc heads, CompCams XE270HR-14 cam, and a completely stock 93 Cobra intake and I made 310/350.

AFRs are very expensive, though. To get the best cam, you should call Ed Curtis at flowtechinduction.com.

You tell him your set up he will grind you a badass cam that will outperform any OTS cam.

^ Cool beans... I'm going to put it through it's paces first and see what I feel it needs... one hint, this isn't a Mustang so it doesn't need as much power to not suck

i believe you. my first 306 made 290hp/296tq with all gt-40 stuff,and an e-cam,it's all about good tuning,and a REAL dyno(i.e. dynojet) not mustang dynoes that inflate your numbers.

Ive put together a few GT40 powered motors that have all puttin down right around 300..

My car was untuned, with stock injectors, with GT40 equipment and STOCK, with shitty port job intake and putting down those numbers..

With an intake, 24lbers and a tune, I would easily be iun the 320 range..

Man i cant think of another car you could slide a 5.0 into and have it weigh less then a GT. Thunderbirds are heavier, and so are rangers i think.
