Yeah i've been running one for almost a year now. I've never had a speeding ticket, knock on wood!

WELL worth the investment, and totally undetectable!

Dont do a Valentine one, they're awesome, but I got picked up with mine when a cop was using Spectre III.

For some reason I thought the STI utilized a remote display like the V1. In fact, I would have sworn they did it too because I thought I remembered hearing how V1 was upset about it... I think I've lost my mind.

They may have a remote display, but I don't remember seeing that.

You can buy a complete 'stealth' version of the STi from Europe for 999 euro...stealth meaning it has the receivers that mount in the front and the back of the car, and a small display that one can mount on the dash anywhere.

Its really nice but reaallly expensive...Thats around $1,400. I'd rather pay $450 and have mine concealed in the upper left hand corner of my windshield.

Its really not that bad; would you like to accidentally get ahead of your rationality and do 20+ over and get a ticket and face those stupid high fines, court hassles, insurance rates, and a bad reccord?

Nah, $450 is the best money i've ever spent, it has saved me on many occasions. I dont speed when im just driving around; when i get on it its usually late at night, on a cruise, on a back road, or on the interstate when im doing pulls with someone.

Now with all the stuff I have on my car, it redlines before I can think to shift, then I look down and im well over 20 over haha....hearing the alert gets me back down to where I need to be just in time for me to then visibly see the cop.

Oh and it gives me peace of mind, and allows me to sleep better at night....and I can log my car in 3rd gear safely if I get no radar alerts.

For those that use radar, you will soon find that 99% of cops in roanoke do NOT run instant-on (radar user's worst enemy haha)...in fact i've NEVER seen a case of instant on in the 9 months i've owned mine...so I really dont worry about it...just be smart, and dont drive like an asshole everywhere.

Not to mention any ticket between 10-19 over you're going to spend half the cost of the detector... so get out of 2 tickets and its well worth the cost not to mention keeping your insurance rates down!

Exactly, you keep your insurance rates down, and if you were EVER to get pulled, you would have a clean record...which, previously stated in this thread, helps you sometimes get out of your ticket.

Its a win win.

But anyway...yes NiceNLow im apart of Empire.

And -JB- why dont you come out and hang out with us before you bash the "Team". Youll find yourself looking at some nice cars and talking to nice guys.

"But being on a team of all rice cars and street racing thugz is just GAY"
...if you would like we could set something up so you can find out whats rice about us and whats not. Let me know if you would like to take the invite.

Now THAT was a good response to the typical bashing. I don't mind a nice, legit auto team. I usually prefer it to be life long friends with nice rides. Either way I'd like to see some of your cars. Post up some pics.
