Northern VA - Dyno Day
That Grand Am was built by one of the guys at Moore. I've been told it's the fastest Grand Am in the world. I've seen it on the streets, and it is NUTS.
what motor was in this grand am? any pics?
nevermind, i looked at moore's website and it's a GT so that narrows it down, unless it's swapped...
if the owner is on here, pm me. i know a way to get you $400+ off another website.

Yep, that's the one.
Yeah. Chris Hoover, their Master Tech.
It's got the 2.3 Quad 4 engine in it. His user name is TurboQuad4, but he doesn't get on here much anymore.

I want to thank everyone who came out Saturday and making this event such a success! There was a lot of people there and I know there was quite a few people that didn't make it on the dyno. I believe we are doing it again this Saturday (weather permitting, call us later in the week 703-352-3535 to make sure). So if you want to come back out please be sure to get here early. We were dynoing til 9:30 that night.
The Grand Am is mine. My homepage link is for my build up page on another site. You'll have to sign up to see the pics though. Pre 99 GT's could have either the 4 or 6 cylinder, this is a 2.3L "Quad 4" car. I don't know about labeling it as the fastest Grand Am in the world (there are swapped V8 and turbo V6 ones out there), but it's probably the most powerful Quad 4 powered Grand Am right now. At 556 whp I haven't heard of another one higher. I'm not settling on that either, it'll have another 200 probably by the end of summer.
