THE HOLDEN UTE is coming!!
Because that is what Pontiac is. That is why GM created Pontiac. A higher end car with more performance. aimed towards the younger generation with a heavy foot. basically adding nicer seats and a better tune.
Ignorance is not name calling, it is an observations made upon an individual that is poorly informed, claiming ignorance does not make you any less of a person, it just states the obvious that you lack the information to make an informed statement. Sorry to hear about your sensitivity, I have kept it simple to knucklehead, which I have found has less sting than the following: dumbass, idiot, stupid fuck, moron, fuckstick, and so on….
So...will you admit that Pontiac shares body parts with Chevrolet on two models now?
Vauxhall / Holden / Opel / Saturn: Astra - T Platform
Pontiac / Chevrolet/ Saturn: G5/Cobalt/Ion (no longer in production) - Delta Platform
...okay, you're trying, but it's not working. He said "share," just like you said above. He didn't say "steal" or "take" or "adopted." He said "share," which implies that they use the same parts. So...Cobalt to G5. They share body parts, engines, drivetrain, etc. You're STILL introducing bits and pieces to a statement you made which was, simply, that only one Pontiac shares body parts with a Chevrolet. This is FALSE. The fact that you keep dodging it is...inconceivable!

There is no Astra sedan, only a 3-door, 5-door, MPV, wagon, and drop-top. The coupe is not a re-badge. Their designs are entirely different. Like I said...T Platform, not Delta Platform.

Why does it look like this G5 sedan?
Weird it appears to be similar to this Cobalt sedan also...
What is this thing then?

Regardless, that has nothing do to with my original statement.
EDIT: Looking at it again, it doesn't look like it shares a single body panel except the front doors. Maybe the roof, but I can't tell. Everything else is different.

Egads! I stand corrected again. Apparently this Astra sedan has been available in Brazil as a Chevrolet since late 2006.
That's what you get when you hear "Opel Astra Sedan" and check Opel's German website (where the sedan doesn't appear at all).

Shared is not the problem, specifically stating that one thing is direct property of the division of Chevrolet is…. Get with it, it is not that hard to comprehend.
Nope, I will stick to it that the Equinox is a direct Chevy product that was adopted for use by Pontiac and re-badged as such.
