You on this subject have no clue. The unit I was attached to and our duties I can't really explain but our first mission was to secure Ramla oil fields,not a mission we even fathemed theres a lot that happened over there that you dont know about. I will not speak on it over the web. I can say this.... we allowed the ministry of education and religious buildings with priceless artifacts, schools, hospitals..etc get looted and burned to the ground... But the oil fields were safe.

and if Obama was white and just as young with new ideas, view and same outlook he would be recieved just the same. America is a very racist country more so then others. Its a shame that people think because he is black, voters will act like he is a token employee getting hired, when he is 3 times as educated as McCain.

McCain flew 29 succesful Missions and destroyed 5 aircraft, he got into the naval academy with a GPA that should have kept him out was 5th from the bottom of his class...almost the same stats as Bush a C- in Yale. only way McCain got into the naval academy was because of his father and grand father. If that was today McCains GPA would be a 1.01.

 

The oil is vital to Iraq's survival. The rest of that stuff is not.

I think McCain is uninspirational and Sarah Palin is just plain embarrassing to even be called a VP, she's scum of the earth and a huge dissapointment to even be representing the American people.

Regardless of how you try to cleverly disquise it, what you said/ asked ( sarcastic or not) was disrespectful to me and could have been approached differently. You may take someone's decision to join the service as a joke or something to take likely but to the person/ people who are/do, it's not a laughing matter. To "sarcastically" ask me if I joined by lumping me in a category of " kid who needs money" or " kid who slaves at MacDonald's" just seemed a lil narrow minded to me. Then on top of that, insinuate that I didn't understand the risks of joining. Just seemed like a lot of assumption and not enough thinking before your fingers hit the keyboard. Come on, I know your smarter than this dude You can't possibly sit back and say that the majority of his votes are because he is black. He couldn't be in the lead right now based on that alone. What about the people voting for him because they hate Bush (a lot of people see Mcain and Bush as one in the same)? Aren't there people voting for him because of his views? Wasn't Clinton white? Didn't the black community love him and support him? Now I don't deny that there are some ignorant people out there who will vote on the basis of race in this election but to sit back and think that there aren't people voting for Mcain because he's not black would just be nieve. There are bad apples on both ends and neither is more right than the other but you can't focus on the ignorant. Unfortunately, it's impossible in this day and age to avoid racial bias for some people but certainly not all. It's too easy to say that's where all his votes are coming from.
