kinda cheap for upscale
Catch31 was awesome when I took the wife there. We rarely go anywhere awesome, but that seemed decently upscale. Nicer than Olive Garden, Carabba's etc.
I think it was around $70-90 for the two of us. Great appetizers, great food etc.
It's on the oceanfront, 31st street and whatever that main street is (pacific/atlantic?)
It's probably insanely cold down at the oceanfront this time of year though so it's your call.

My point.. I was thoroughly impressed with the restaurant. Is it the best by far? No. I've yet to visit a Melting Pot where I left not wanting more unfortunately. Each restaurant will have it's ups and downs -- it all breaks down to what you're after specifically (ie. quantity, quality, class, etc.)
steinhilbers for sure..
go there every year with my parents, but you can rack up a rather large bill there VERY quickly.
everytime we go, we rack up between $150-$200 bill.

Hayashi. Sushi, amazing filet minons, grilled chicken, and you can watch them cook in front of you. For 2 people it would probably be around $60-$100, but it's well worth it.
Never eaten at Martha's Vineyard have you? If having "barn" in the name discourages you, I suspect you would never eat at a place called "Lure" or a plethora of restaurants in New York City. Come on now..

No restaraunt is perfect.. hell I don't even go to my own (not that its a bad place... just one of those places you go once... like i said it is a niche restaurant-women do love that place though)... and that shit is basically free for me after my discount and employee credit.
My qualifications are service, quality, and ambiance. The name had nothing to do with it.. which aberdeen barn has great ambiance and value with descent service... I was just poking fun at bringing a chick to a barn for a romantic evening.
