why thank you mr english professor. every time i see that civic i think about that move employee of the month. how much did you all have to restore on that car?
basically everything was restored except for most of the interior. we got a new motor, new brakes, new suspension, body was completely sanded and straightened. the only things that are original are the body panels, headlights, tailights, grill, dash, and rear seats.
good times today. alot of people were lost. here is my fastest run of the day. helmet cam and from the spectator area. should i stick with the helmet cam or give up on it?
I had a blast. And most definitely the course wasn't friendly to my massive amounts of understeer. I wish I would have run 2nd or 3rd heat so I could have gotten a better feel for the course.
it was good to put some faces to the people that talk up here.
For sure, nice meeting you. Had a blast fighting for 3rd with quick26. Btw I lost the fight lol. Felt like I was on ice out there gonna have to get new tires next season.

Tires were the first thing I changed. (And, so far, only thing, aside from a slight DIY realignment in the front to give as much camber as I get get in AS class, about -1 degree; no sense paying someone else to just push it to the stops for me.) I heartily recommend Dunlup Z1 Star Specs, if you're sticking to street tires, but there are some other tires out there, some even faster (Kuhmo's new tire is apparently just AWESOME in the dry kicking serious ass, but awful in the wet.). And who knows what else will be out by next year. By the end of the season, you may be itching for some r-comps, though
No matter what tire you get, it will never be grippy enough. I feel like I'm on ice, too; just a result of driving on the edge of traction. How are your tire pressures, have you gotten them dialed in yet?
