Bit of an update. Started porting the TGVs (tumble generationg valves). Its basically a flapper valve in the bottom of the intake manifold...helps with idle ect. but really gets in the way when you start turning the boost way up.
Before (with the scres already drilled out):
Removeing the actuators:
Removed the flappers and rod:
And starting cutting out the wall that seperates the runner and the injector port:
I started smoothing the remainder of the walls and ill post picstures of the final product. Then off goes the whole manifold to powdercoat.

looks awsome dude , I wouldnt hesitate to use the 6MT , I have on 04 Sti with 102k .. And I drive my car , and I mean DRIVE and I have never had the slightest hiccup . Good luck with build man

DONE! Now off to powder coat along with the intake manifold so I can get the motor the rest of the way together and in the car.
No the walls are not wavy....its just weird light reflections.
