You never know how that judge woke up that morning, what mood he/she is in, or how forgiving they are feeling. Worse thing that happens is you get found guilty and end up paying anyway. Seems logical to atleast see what the judge will do.
agreed, i've been pulled over 3 times for speeding. I've voluntarily done drivers improvement and brought the same certificate to court all 3 times lol. To this date the only thing on my record is is a speeding ticket that was knocked down to failure to obey hwy sign and defective equipment. Take the time to go to court. You could end up saving lots of money on insurance premiums and tickets...

Yeah, fuck a lawyer. Pay the ticket. It's not as serious as i thought.
here is a little lesson for you. no more than 45 on double lane or higher roads.

no more than 55 on state highways, up to 70 on interstates depending on areas.

Unless otherwise posted,
55 on highways (think of this meaning 55 on any type of road not listed below, a highway isn't what most people think it is)
35 on rural rustic roads
25 in business and residential districts
35 on highways in cities or towns

I am presuming a regular passenger car. (see Va Code 46.2-870 to 878, 46.2-1300)

I know the lesson.

If you read my other post, I got blasted with tickets after not knowing I had broken teeth on my speedometer gear. It'd flip flop here and there but never thought anything of it. The S2000 is my only car I've gotten speeding tickets in, due to it being fucked up and me neglecting to fix it.

I had a ticket and was about to prepay it, missed the deadline. Went to court for it and the lady judge dismissed it once completion of that all day driving class. Only had to pay $26 in court fees and $45 for the class and I don't have a ticket on my record.

If you're under 18, paying it isn't the end of it.

they used to and then fucking ford got cheap and went to a cheaper less durable driveshaft in 2005 or 2006. < 04 they used a composite driveshaft that was rated for like 150 mph (not that a vic would go that fast anyway). Then the bastards cheaped out and went with a weaker driveshaft that was only rated for 130 mph. so ford raised the rear end ratio so they don't top out as high as the older ones and they went with bigger wheels so they handle a smidge better than the older ones but they're still a fucking pig.

camaros are long gone. chargers obviously are around. a rare intrepid. virginia = teh broke so no cool toys for a while.
