Dave, you car was probably the best car to have for the conditions.
long wheel base = predictable handling
auto = not alot of wheel spin
abs = braking without lock up (assuming you have abs)
I think I could have run a 1:02 if I will ever get around to fixing my shifter bushings (2nd gear was hard to find on 2 of my runs). Best was a 1:03.???

lightningd, those are some impressive times I was in awe when they announced the times.
I on the other hand didn't do as well in my rear drive, balding street tires...
1:23:?? and missed a gate
1:17:??
1:12:??
1:10:??
I basically improved about 5 seconds on every run but the last

Good job. Your times were unreal. I got a 106 something (can't really hear in my car). My car was hating the conditions. Enough of the excuses. God runs.

I was unable to go. I had some family stuff to take care of, and plus the weather didn't make me miss it. This weekend though I am defeinetly going.
How many cars showed up?
Damn, Dave it looks like you did pretty good. Congragulations. I thought I'd be nice and let you take this event.

buddy
actually, we would have been really close on this course, there wasn't a lot of straights for you torque monster to rape me on. i was competing w/ the wrx which has 230+hp to get the idea. i wish you were there, maybe all 3 of us could have been making it a hell of a race.

my auto is a actually and electrical tranny, so it can be driven manually just w/out the clutch. it even says it in the owners manual heh. needless to say, i shift it. i do get a little bit of wheelspin when i'm leaning due to the open dif.
and no abs here, i locked 'em up plenty of times. even on the fastest run.
