Yes very sad but Insurance on a car like that for someone my age is CRAZY. But I traded in my car and got a 2004 40th Anniversery GT. Its actually in the shop right now

 

couple of mods and you could be back close to cobra spec in no time. back in the days when i had Gt's and Cobras I had the same problem. I traded my cobra for a 3000 GT due to the insurance and fuel economy (4.11 > interstate driving across country). Plus when the military moved me to Utah the insurance is much higher there than Va and they have emissions laws (x pipes) but i miss her and my wrx is cool but it will never have the Torque UMPH of the cobras or GTs
