I love driving mountain roads, hopefully I can take it out there one time before the car is sold. Prob. wont be able to keep up with the evo on the back raods, but I can play catch up on the straight aways lol.
Cant wait to meet you guys out at FATS one day.

However, in my previous s13 I walked from chapter's EVO....
I'm not trying to make an argument about driving in a straight line vs. around a corner.... I am saying which i prefer.. If you could drive, you'd know what I mean. Hell, I probably street race more than most people in central. But, I'd MUCH rather be in the mountians, or on a drift course.

Hehe yeah its alot do do with the driver and suspension vs power.
I bet if drivers equal...the evo would win over the s13......but I suck compared to Chris
Also I though I would add this- To those of you wanting to try their hand at touge driving I encourage you... however, if you are not VERY fimiliar with your car or your driving ability this type of driving can be very dangerous not only to you but to on comming traffic as well. You really need to know how your car will react when certian things happen. Everyone make mistakes when driving hard, the key is how to react to those mistakes. You can't do that effectively untill you know yourself and the car extremely well.
This isn't Initial D so take is slow the first couple times... get to know the road and your driving style better, if possibly follow someone who knows the road and what lines to take... learn from them and apply your style to those lines.
As far as experience goes, I would encourage anyone looking to drive in the mountians to participate in a couple drift events. This will help you get a feel for how the car reacts when it doesn't have traction, and what you can do to either regain traction or control the slide. It's truely something that comes over time.. you can't go out tomorrow and be the fastest car on the mountian, no matter what car you drive. It takes time and experience.
I dunno where i was going with that but I didn't want a ton of people to go find some windy road and think they can fly down it.
O yea one more thing... autox is retarded... please don't confuse touge driving with autox. If your looking to get a feel for your car autox can be helpful, but don't do it to be competitive... thats just silly.
