Nope it was the years after that. It had the 1.7 liter motor in it and no turbo

Take your time and get what YOU want.

If your willing to take the time to find one, i would say get a VW GTi.. they are fun. if your patient, youll find one. i had a friend get one for 2 grand.. rims, painted. kit. it was hott. I didnt wait and i got mine for 14.
