I dunno WTF.. Ive had Mike over here looked at it, couldnt find anything and I REFUSE to do anything more with Cox..

I was without phone and internet for damn near 3 weeks because of their fuck up and they still made me pay for my old phone bill AND the whole digital bundle pack shit.. And every time I called I got a run around.. I watched a guy come out to the house, sit in his truck for damn near an hour and a half, bring out a meter, check something then said "This is an engineer's job".. I cussed that bitch out like no tommorrow..

 

2 outlets plus internet? It's either the cable or you need an amp or maintenance needs to come out there and raise the strength. The "engineer's job" is probably reffering to a maintenance turnover. Maintenance doesnt like to do shit unless the levels are really bad. If i coulndt find anything and you've been having the problem for a while, you'd have an amp. Hell I know whats wrong with the cable in my house and I have an amp because I dont feel like crawling under the house. Remind me when I see you one day and I'll come over and take a look, or if you have off on a sun, mon, or tues let me know and if i finish the day early (i usually do on sudays) i'll come over and look at it.

 

And refusing to do anything with cox is the wrong thing to do. The more you bitch, th better your chances are of getting it fixed. Trust me, when I go to a house and I'm the 5th tech in two weeks out there, I'm checking EVERYTHING twice to make sure I dont have a repeat on me. But not all techs are like me.
