hmmm.... from evom...

Top left is hta35 and top right is 35r. The hta has same exducer size. The inducer is about 3mm smaller. The hub of the wheel is half the size of 35r. This makes the blades much bigger. The wheel is much lighter because so much mass was removed from the hub and inducer diameter is smaller. This coupled with there being 14 blades instead of 12 allows the turbo to spool faster and move more air sooner. The turbine shaft doesnt have to spin as fast to move X amount of air so backpressure at the turbine is reduced.

The bottom two wheels are mitsubishi 24v and 25g wheels. The 25g shares same traits as 35r, the 24v shares same traits as hta35.

Right, I have seen that as well. Like I said the wheel is actually bigger because the blades extend into what would have been the hub on the 35R.

You still work at the junkyard?

I need to get a beater 1g that I can do stuff like that in. I have too much invested into the 2g to take it out in the snow/salt.

Hoping to fire it up this weekend. I need to pull the trans to reinstall the twin disk clutch as there is an issue with how I had it aligned when I first installed it, do some wiring for the twin pump system, finish the IC piping, rewire the cam and crank, and a few other small bits.
