"The time has come that I have realized it is time to sell the car that I have worked on for several years and went to a significant number of car shows with. This car has been in several magazines in the past both car show coverage and features.

I have not been able to do much to it over the past 3 years and it currently needs work.

This car was built for car shows and has won several. It has been to most of the major car shows on the East Coast and some of the smaller local based car shows.


Now here is the bad news:
1) Car has a problem running - likely from sitting so long without being driven. It will turnover, start, but will not continue to run. Very likely it is a fuel issue. I have replacement fuel regulators that I have not installed yet.
2) The remote door poppers do not work properly and the door panels are not currently installed. The door popper technology has increased since these were installed and a newer better system can be purchased for under $200.

Since these cars are considered 'classic cars' now the typical NADA, KBB and Edmunds values do not apply. Additionally when looking at custom modified cars the standard values do not apply.

Based on online pricing (sales history and classic car values) this car would be valued at over $12,000 in running condition with new tires based on the condition and custom work that has been done. I am not looking to get anywhere near that amount but I'm also looking to get more than just a low ball offer of a few thousand. I'm open to offers on this car so please keep that in mind - the worst I can say is no.

I am open to offers on this car that is a true diamond in need of some minor polishing.
