If you like imports/ compact cars but just DD it and want to have fun every now and then with it you really need the stick, automatics seem to make them feel sluggish and hard to get up to speed in. But if your knee is that bad id just go auto anyways.

All of my Mustangs were manuals which was fun. My catfish is an auto. It does the job and chirps the tires when shifting and the 1-2 shift is pretty nice.

i drive a 89 ef sedan manual for my daily and it honestly gets old after a while when your "fun" car is a stick too. especially when its slow as crap and you have to shift everytime. in my opinion if your knee is giving out, get an automatic. i love driving my moms tsx haha boss status

i prefer a manual because i like being able to roll backwards or forwards a bit just by letting off the brake. that and i hate how most traditional autos try to pull while you're braking.

If i could afford 2 cars. I'd have a shitty little corolla auto. make great gas mileage, and putt around all day. Theeeen, i would have my track/auto-x/weekend car that was a manual.
