Woah now, slow down. You're biased and not allowed to make that kind of decision. (a wrong one)

not my cup of tea either. But looks like you have put a lot of hard work into it. And that is always something to be proud of.

I just read all 5 pages, and I decided that with the exception of about 2 posts, this whole thread does not need to be in tech talk...

A few things that stand out... A 4 mile drag race!? Thats just retarded, especially with an old crx... I bet every single bolt on the underside of that car is completely crusted by now.

And Mike if you buy a gallon of bondo, some sand paper, and some primer this week. I will come help you with the body work on the crx friday. I am sure there will be a crx that looks worse than yours after a little bit of TLC...

Back on topic! First off I would not recommend racing anybody in a stock crx hx, but IF you do, I would suggest ruthlessly slamming every single gear. D series cable trannies are cheap and easy to replace...

basically, to double clutch, once you finish tapping out 2nd, shift to third, once your about to tap out third, shift down back to second, floor it real quick, and go to forth.

works like a charm every time

Obviously double clutching is when you press the clutch with both feet! Use some common sense...

I only have one clutch in my civic, for weight saving reasons.
