it takes ALOT of dough to go all out in both directions (exterior and performance) so gotta choose one. I don't have a need for speed and i don't race so....., But in a perfect world i would just have my dream car the Skyline and look phat as hell and be a beast at the sametime. But one day the dream will come true.

I don't know, I go through phases. I'm all about power sometimes and i'm all about looks another. But ultimately I want the maxium amount of both. So my ambitions is not a ricer's mentality. I make sure the exterior is always classy, no rice. My ride is clean. Is it wrong to just to be little more into how it looks then how it performs? But I mean with my limited budget I did wat I could. I believe I have a good balance of both exterior and performance upgrades, I basically got all the bolt-ons just no turbo. Yes, we all wish we could be Wagz and have turbo.

If a car looks like shit, I could give a crap about how fast it is.

Cars aren't all horsepower and torque

and oh yeah...

performance parts > looks

and that's not necessarily go-fast parts. you can easily get performance parts while helping the looks too. spring/shocks/coilovers will make your car look better while giving you better handling. exhaust will make your car look meaner while giving you slightly more power.

personally, i rather go for performance parts. i've probably spent $76 on looks. that includes $75 for my lip and $1 for the red tape to mask my spoiler holes :P

like brian said, "No one wants a car that looks good, and gets passed by grandma in her Caddy." and if you do, then that's the original definition of a ricer

I don't get why making a car look nice over performance is ricey. Not everyone has a need for speed. If someone made their car look pretty and then thought it was fast because of that then I'd say that is what a ricer is. Would you call minitruckers or low riders ricers? Probably not because most have no intentions of ever racing.
