Don't forget the bumped up HP and TQ for 04 models. 230hp and 250ftlbs of torque with the LSD. Staged mods warrantied from dodge can get you about 300 hp for a few grand more. All that for probably about 25k. Cannot be touched in its class.

Are you implying that Supras are not good handling cars? Supras handle EXCELLENT. A modded Supra say 600rwhp (mid-sized turbo) vs. a 250hp Sentra at VIR would not even be a race. Not sure if you know this but Andi B.'s Supra placed 6th this year and 4th last year in One Lap of America. Picture below...

Meant A 1000 HP is a bit too much for tight ass turns not implying I have a few freinds with supras....Handle good but Seem a lil heavy, and Sluggish into a turn (from driving the car expirience) But Squased I'm done with the Supra senario.....Lets get togeather and run the supra Vs the S12 At VIR though...HEHE......Just playin bro, but it would be close im sure....

Sentras have potential, and are pretty inexpensive.

So what if I could beat Corvettes, Trans Ams, M3s, etc...it is still a GTI. Those cars will always be in a higher class than mine, regardless if I beat them down the track.

Cars have never been ONLY about horsepower and torque output. Some people see it this way, but if this was true, we'd all be driving old VW Bugs running 8 second 1/4s.

That said, the SRT-4 is a decent car overall, and a very good car for the price. My GTI cost about the same (got it for around 21k). However, just because an SRT could beat me at a stoplight doesn't mean I'd want one over my GTI.

If I ever beat a M5 in a race, should I expect the owner to bow down to my car? No...because it is still just a GTI.
