Fortune Auto Demo Car: White on White...that's f*ckin ROSS!
Yeah you need to does that.
You should go to Summit in May!!!!
No this is an Evo 9 and the silver one was an Evo 8. No, we bought the DA from FlimFlam...I use it for a daily and we're planning on tracking it too lol

looks great. is this the silver evo just repainted? sorry for being out of the loop. I dont get why people have such an issue with rotas. Yes, years ago there was a production lot that had defects but honestly since then how many have had problems other than the operator themselves damaging them. Thousands of people around the world are riding on those wheels without any issue. I do agree however that the Fortune sticker on the wheels is fakin the funk but its thos little details that get noticed i guess when its show time. Whats the story with the DA, i thought that was Jens little bros car?
If any of you actually go to the track you'll see that in extreme conditions the wheel is supposed to fail (rota or bbs or work or whatever)- it takes the impact away from your expensive to replace suspension parts.
Lets not turn this into a rota bashing thread

The only purpose Rota's have are to give you that higher end "look" while on a budget. I understand you bought them for the track but there is no way in hell I would trust my life to some garbage wheels. There are plenty of other higher quality wheels out there that won't break the bank but might not look as good, but will serve that purpose.
The worst part of your new setup is the Fortune sticker on the wheels. I mean c'mon. You even had to use the Volk style design.

Wasn't this image proven to be a fake? I was fairly certain it was...
lol @ morons who think you can't run Rotas on track.
What do you propose happened here?
You aren't actually trying to say that you think the car had so much power and the tires had SO much grip that it actually spun the wheel, are you? Bending spokes before spinning tires?
I believe that's been posted before and the wheels were hitting the calipers - find the rest of the pictures.

If that image isn't good enough for you, I can find plenty more that have failed on the track. I'm not saying they can't be tracked just saying I wouldnt.
Per the moderator, let's not turn this into a debate. I saw a car, i said my opinion on it. Don't get but hurt just bc it wasnt the opinion you wanted to hear. Its the internet.....relax.

edit: I still want to know what you propose happened to the wheels you posted.
Funny I rather see cars run wheels that have been designed and proven on the track. But you are ok with running wheels from a company that make wheels solely so they "look" good.
Yet i'm the the tard? lol
EDIT: Back to the car.....
