The guy who was with the white one.

Anyway, got the miata back running again, loose wire on the starter...whew....already have a LSD lined up to put in the car.

Started a list of things i want to do to the car, already really excited about next season.

Luckily that thing was away from my line. It took me two laps to realize what it was haha. So did someone hit it and send it sailing or did a brave corner worker run out and grab it?

I sure hope I never have that kind of brake usage if I ever upgrade the turbo. I've been on the same Brembo slotted rotors all year (17 track days, 7 or so autox's) and they're just starting to shop a lip on the outside. I got through pads every 2 or 3 weekends depending on the time of year. Was Dan's STi like that, or is that how they are stock?

We talking about the guy in the gunmetal one plates 'OO YEAH' or Sharif's buddy that was all tat'd up?

Are you building it around any class? I have to say TT is the most fun I've had on track in a long time.

i'm going to do TT.

But i have to get the car a new base class, i hope it it just kicks up to TTD with my mods.

There's a guy at the track with a mazdaspeed miata that runs TTD, his has a megasquirt and ra1's + a few other things and was still TTD. That car makes more power then mine, so i hope i'll be fine.

I'm not going to bother to send it up to get reclassed until the new rules come out for 2010.

I think a well driven well prepped FI'd early Meeotter could definitely get there in TTD.

yea i dont doubt the car has it in it...i ran a 2:21 on friday...sat and sun field i think i got 2-3 clean laps all sessions combined haha.

Jon if i send a dyno and weight of the car to the TT director is it switched to more of a power to weight then the points system? As in my car is a 1.8 s/c swap, so if i get reclassed as a high TTE base...say TTE**...Do i not have to count the intake mods/header etc since ive been reclassed already for the power?

Yes, it is. When you submit it, that new base class will apply to all your power mods. He will likely give you a (possibly new) minimum competition weight based on that, and possibly a new base tire size too. So you will not take any additional points for anything power or weight related, just the other stuff like tires/suspension/etc. You will, however, need to make sure it meets the minimum 'adjusted' power to weight ratio for the new base class.

It's a lot of math but we take it seriously, and we will take it even more seriously in 2010...

I doubt your a TTE car, even though the SE-R ran a 2:19 in TTE. Either way you've got some work to do, as do I.
