i'm not doubting your dyno.... and mad props for the times... but 600+whp and you're only trapping 132mph? something's not adding up there

not bashing or hating just curious.

 

THe track conditions were not the greatest, I had bad traction issues. I picked up between 30-38mph frm the 1/8 to the 1/4 on each run so the power is there. Also we feel the clutch started slipping so all the power was not laid down to the ground. New clutch comes in today, Twin disc that will hold the power. Once I get new 1/4 miles times will post it. Should trap 140mph+ BUt the 616whp #s are real plenty of people there when it was dynoed at Holeshot.

 

he's only had it at the track twice with this set up, the first time doesn't even really count.

the clutch may have issues, but he obviously spins and shifts way too slow in the video.

his momentum is way off in the bottom 1/8th. the car is not getting through the first 1/8th as it should so therefore the car cannot really trap what it should. when i was having issues with my car(too much spinning/bogging gear changes), i'd see 127-128 traps. when the car got the 1/8th it should, i was seeing 134-135 traps. with no other changes to the car.

once the bugs are worked out and terry gets more track time, he will see over 140 mph traps and 10.50's or better.

 

norris trapped at 130's..he dynoed over 600whp

 

perfect example. when norris was first running the car, he was trapping low 130's. no momentum through the 1/8th. i believe he was also having some tuning issues. now all thats figured out and he is trapping 138/139. the car still spins alittle, but ran 10.90's. and he weights 200 lbs more than the kimchee wiggler. lol.
