On prednisone? I was given it twice to knock back my immune system when my body went haywire and tried to kill itself. how odd- my warnings said it would make me more susceptible to catching something else

I know... it makes you gain weight. poor thing.

his lung biopsy was yesterday. everything went smooth. results in 2-5 days.

 

What exactly are they looking for with the biopsy?

 

what could be in his lungs.

 

they don't have a diagnosis in the works? instead of having an idea in mind and wanting confirmation they just started punching holes in his already jacked up lungs in the hopes to figure it out? o_O? what? I would imagine they have some kind of direction they are going with it.

Sorry guys. I work nights so I went to the Hostpital before work.

None of the tests will be back until monday. They are slowly taking him off the stuff that keeps him in the coma BUT will still be heavily sedated to keep him from pulling at all of his sensors. The ventilator is only at 60% so he is partially breathing on his own.

All in all his mother told me things are starting to look up. I was quite happy when I heard this.

Lets hope things stay on the up and up. Keep the positive thoughts guys!!
