I think he is saying its slow in the drag world....in reality its prety fast
WRC cars run 12's and I think they are pretty fast.
But 12's are slow for a drag car

Pretty much, wrc cars are fast at doing what they are designed/built to do. But in a straightline they are relatively slow.

on dyno @ 6600rpm = 135mph
at race @ 6600rpm = 135mph

I'd never gone that fast in the wagon before that race and I swore I never would again because of the way the freakin thing felt at that speed. Then I raced a Z06 in our car club and shifted into 5th which he said his speedo read around 145mph.

The car felt like that Grizzly rollercoaster at kings dominion, you kinda feel like you could fly off the track at any moment.

By all means, anything that runs 12's in the 1/4 is faster than my car, and it's quick/"fast" for the streets, but I don't think 12's are fast enough to really be competitive in the drag racing world unless you're bracket racing. It might be fast enough to beat the soccer mom next to you at the red light and the Civic with exhaust that revs at you at the intersection, but there are some cars out there that run 12's consistently off the dealership lot with full interior, in stock trim.. you know? There's always something faster, especially if you run 12's.

a daily driven car that runs 12s is in its own way fast. but not that fast hell my car runs 12s and now should run deep into the 12s but by no means do i think it is fast.... quick not fast, but to me it actually feels slow

I agree with james. Just because a car on a dynojet that shows no load or resistance hit 135, doesnt mean it will do it on the street.

I would also like to add that when you get your speedo calibrated, they use a roller dyno.
I dont see how you could get much more of an accurate mesurement. You are measuring ground speed. Even radar isnt as accurate.
