I know this is random, but i've decided on getting a Saab 9-2X Aero. As some of you know, I plan on selling the Cobalt when I move down to SC b/c i'll have a good bit more money (living rent free with the rents while I go back to college), so I felt it time to trade in on something different. I was thinking about a Sky Redline, but being as they are so new, they'll be slightly too expensive for what im looking for. I can pick up a low mileage '05 or '06 9-2X for under $20,000 though. However, unlike my current car, this car will be getting the sleeper treatment.

 

Not too familiar with saabs I met a guy one time who had a 9-2x aero wagon with a 04 sti engine swap. Ran high 12s in the 1/4

Yeah dude you too. Don't worry, me and the car will be down there soon enough. I'm taking out a loan through my company soon to wrap things up on my car....needs new tires, gonna get my alignment/camber done AGAIN (had a camber bolt snap and effed things all up), finally remove that drivers side door ding, few other little cosmetic things......but yeah i'll have the SS until March '09 at least......then i'll be on the hunt for a silver 9-2X.

Yeah, im not going that big, lol. Gonna keep the stock motor.......same engine as a standard WRX. But I want the motor to appear stock when I pop the hood. Gonna do a Beatrush air inlet pipe (on the inside of the fender, brings air directly into the stock airbox) + a Perrin drop in filter.....all the plastic underhood pipes (air intake pipe, turbo inlet pipe and top mount IC pipe) will be replaced with black silicon Perrin pipes, gonna do the Turbo XS stealthback into a SPT axle-back to keep it quiet and stock looking, a mild drop with Tein H-techs.........some 17" Rota Scuderia wheels.....they look almost stock.....a Perrin short shifter.....haha I got it all planned out.

Debating keeping "OSSHWA" on the tags or maybe getting "SAABARU" if its not taken down in SC.

Do you mean a silver BMW m5, or a silver 9-2X with a 5-speed manual? lol. I take it you mean a silver 5-speed 9-2X. If so, that'd be exactly what im looking for (assuming its the turbocharged Aero model, not interested in the linear), but I can't get one just yet. Waiting till I move b/c for one my bills are gonna be cut in half, and also my insurance drops in April.

 

lol JMU is a joke of a party school....you need to check out WVU. by far the best parties ive ever been too. radford, tech, jmu, GM all of them suck in comparison. i dont even consider the parties at those schools to be actual parties.

 

My brothers went to JMU and VT. They threw down pretty hard there back in the day. Not everybody, but my brothers and friends did. I guess I should checkout WVU sometime eh? Anyone want to roll?
