I will agree with you on that statement. My parents live right by Camp Peary and nothing beats the smooth as glass back water ways and then jump out into the York River. Sometimes it is a bit choppy though.

 

So how about that group ride across the bay to the 'tiki hut' by the concrete ships?

 

Thats a fairly long ride for ski's, haha. Im all for it!

thats the truth, there are some kids that come out there that try to do tricks and do stupid things in the channel and ride way too close to other boaters out there. we tube out to the area towards the right of factory point and sometimes in the middle but far off the channel and the island when its high tide.

 

Yeah. We have hit some that honestly scared the shit out of me after I hit it. I didn't want to ever hit the water and feel the ramifications of hitting that wake. Yet I kept going back and hitting that first wake set off the boats...

 

...I will .... I am going to Nags head for a week so some time after the 4th I will ride over to factory point..Its a ride from my house, I may go to Messick and put in..

 

Ill be out at Factory Point tomorrow afternoon.

 

Was anyone out this weekend? I was out on Sunday. There were a few large groups of jet skiers out.
