Got the bike back together and tires on. 60 series front feels WAY different. Just wants to fall into turns. I'll see how I like it. Might go back to 70 series, since a majority of my riding was on a 70.
The differences between running a 60 series and a 70 series is very very small... there is only 10mm height difference between the tires.
Probably the reason that the bike falls into the corners now is because before your tires was under inflated. And under inflated tire will make you have to push the bike into the corners. The bike should fall into the corners. That is how it is supposed to feel. You lean and the bike pitches... and the 98 - 04 R6 is supposedly the most agile bikes and extremely responsive.
maybe you should let somebody else drive the bike and see what they think. They might be able to get a better idea if they have been riding more often.

Bike felt fine. I think I just had to get some seat time. Tires stick like mad and I can see that at the track, I'll be able to carry some better entry speed. Took it pretty easy since they were new, but they heated up really fast.
