Hi all! I just found out about this forum, and am lookin forward to meeting the other folks in the area. I'm on vwvortex with the same name, and handle my parts shopping/selling/troubleshooting there; but there arent many folks from Roanoke on there...
I live in Roanoke and I guarantee if you live somewhere in/around Roanoke, you have probably seen my car somewhere.
I don't have a good camera, or a lot of motivation, but here's a few snapshots of my car. (you can tell they are semi-old since we haven't had snow since xmas)

I don't know what you folks on here know about VW's but this is a fairly rare 96 VW Golf Harlequin. Yes, it was made this way; I didn't put it together from parts in a junkyard, paint it that way myself, or work for a circus or as a clown.
Car is running a 4cyl 2.0 with an auto trans. I'm hoping to swap to manual in the next couple of months; and i'd like to figure out something to get some more horses under the hood. I don't have much in the way of modifications on the car right now - Hella all blue tail lights, ST coilovers (which arent turned down much in any of the above pics), and a set of snowflake wheels from a mk2 vw cabrio.
I think that's enough of an introduction. Hope to find some people around. take it easy all!
