umm yea........ what lowend power, I hear ya on what your saying about the header possibly being longer for the block on the 1k and other than weight i doubt there is any advantage to doing this. So it is kinda an experimental project if I can find out if there is a 1k header that will bolt up. I am looking for a "full exhaust" however I really dont really like anything that is on the market for my bike except for the taylor made system which alot of people have. They make a dual slip-on exhaust for the gsxr 1k but no single for the 600 so if I can get the 1k header and the m4 supersort slip-on for a 2010 zx-6r and have a custom mid-pipe made I would like to see what I end up with

pc3, and a proper map, w/ a proper 600 exhaust?
Thats the proper way to get torque, not that craziness youre thinking of.

Plus i think its safe to say, the 1000 valve ports are bigger, and spaced further apart.

might be selling a VERY lightly used Penske 2 way shock here soon. has a ohlins spring, on it... havent decided yet tho, depends on how i feel when i mount the ohlins replacement shock, but i think im gonna sell it.
If anyone thinks theyre gonna be interested, lemme know...

oh, its for a 04-07 1000RR.

So I lost my only key to the yamaha... FML --- Anyone know where or how to get a new one cut? Call yamaha? Locksmith? How much is it going to set me back?

Prolly either one would be good. Gonna cost though. At the track it was almost 100 bucks, so I would try calling them both. I personally have 2 keys. One by itself and one on my keyring.
