Saying "$600 phone" is a stretch. While everyone is giving him shit for it, but I just activated a 128gb "small" iPhone 6, and the cost on that was $849. Obviously, the larger phone is going to cost slightly more.
That being said..... I don't see why thinks he'll get "Retail" price for it. for all that, someone can go get it new from their carrier

It's an unlocked phone presumably meaning that you COULD get one for $600, but it would be subsidized and locked into a carrier for 2 years. This phone wouldn't have that problem and was bought unsubsidized. My brother recently upgraded to a 128GB 6 and retail on that is something like $970 so it stands to reason that retail for a substantially bigger phone (and the one that's harder to find) would be more expensive. Either way he's dreaming if he thinks someone is going to buy an unlocked iPhone from him for above retail. I've got a 64GB Plus ordered and estimates are that they'll be in by the end of the month. After the trade in deal it was about $200 after re upping with Verizon. I guess he's hoping that people who don't have upgrades will just bend over in front of him.
