Got the day off. First giving my Civic some love with integra brakes and new pads/rotors all round. Also putting new bulbs in the climate control(si cluster so it'll light up amber)

Then tearing into the S. My SoS clutch line, new slave cylinder, pull brakes off to get machined, new Akebono pads, diff bushings, flush fluids and attempt to clean out the roof drains..

My ears are still ringing after some WOT pulls in a Mexican tunnel.

I can't handle the 70RR . The silencer quiets it down a ton, but it rattles and sounds like a cheap civic pulling away from stoplights and totally defeats the purpose of the exhaust.

Anyone have any feedback on the Spoon N1? I have someone who wants to trade. Also feel free to revoke my man card

Thanks, it sounds awesome according to youtubez

If any of you guys want a J's 70RR with 30 miles on it, let me know. Hopefully I can get enough cash out of this trade and get some coilovers.

Spoon n1 is the best sounding exhaust for the s2000. I wish I could find one.

lol. I severely underestimated it. I honestly thought there was no exhaust on earth that could possibly be too loud for me, so I pretty much dismissed those who warned me. Although I should have noted the posts where some mentioned they needed earplugs to drive it.

I mean I've had some really loud cars:

-3L swapped SVT Contour with ported heads, MSDS headers, de-catted straight pipe to a non resonated Bassani exhaust
-2.3L DSM w/BC280 cams and a 3.5" non resonated turboback exhaust
-Na 3000GT w/ test pipe and borla VR4 3" catback

I thought I was golden, but the 70rr is probably louder than all those combined. And none of those were even close to quiet.

I should have posted my dyno video for you, my exhaust an the J's are really close when it comes to loudness.

Mine made a kid cry when I dyno'd it during one of the Poker Runs. Lol
