02 was the worse year for the QR. Do you have any documents about warranty work being done? Has the butterfly screws ever been lock tighted? You should also get a header soon too to get rid of the stock precat that is known to go bad.

 

Oh yea I've heard about this on the QRs. That sucks.

 

yes i got all the papers of the items that had been re done. He never had any issues with the car after all those items were redone at the dealer. As has every paper of everything of the car lol so skimmed true and the man was telling the truth. I have not checked on the butterfly screws but i will look it up in the service document

If it hasn't already been done you need to lock tight those butteryfly screws asap. It's not very hard at all. Just unbolt the intake manifold and they're right there.

 

daaaamn that interior looks nice. I saw it back when the swap was takin place and it was in shambles then.
