Be ready to do a COMPLETE engine rebuild or some form of an engine swap if it has the original 7mge. No ifs ands or buts. The 7mge is crapped out after 100k due to headgasket issues or poor maintenance. Rod knock is common due to coolant mixing with oil.

I say both. Everyone swings from the skyline's nuts but the Z was way cooler, it just wasn't forbidden fruit. The supra IV speaks for itself and the FD was pretty cool too.

The list could go on for what car I would want to be remade. I really loved celica all-trac's for some odd reason. The 300ZX has always been on the top of my list to own and with so many great reviews from the past and recent. The car seems to impress and probably surpass a lot of cars now.. Cough 350 and 370z cough

They either need a modernized version of the Z32 to sell below the GT-R, around the Corvette price point, or they need to cut the weight of the current one about 500 lbs, restyle it, and market it as a modernized Datsun Z. I don't really care which, but it needs to happen. Probably the latter because the Z32's price caused the lack of sales and discontinuation of the model, then the resurrection as something not as good.
