I agree with Shawn. I've only met him 4 or 5 times, but each time was great (thanks a ton for coming to the Perry Meet) and I've had a very friendly relationship with him no different than I have had with other Subaru owners. I'm terribly interested in his Subaru project, but no so much more than when George did his WRX swap into his RS or When Keinan did his twin turbo madness.

I have no beef with Brian, but I have a beef with him trying to call out Shawn. I'll call Shawn's ass out all day. The reason for it is he is a damned sedan owner. The only difference is that I will call him a sedan bitch to his face. That's about the only dig I can have on Shawn though. E-thugging is not cool, you know better Brian.

We are all different folks. People call me retarded for sticking to the stock turbo on my wagon. Retarded? Probably....but it's my friggen car and I want to be unique in my own way, plus I have a wife that drives it as well so I have to temper my mods to her.

Shawn - Aside from what was just said, I am happy to see this thread has remained open and am trying my darnest to keep it open. As brian said, I was told to leave when you arrived, I was there for maybe 30 minutes total, I had brought batteries to a friend and said my hello's to a few people. Take it for what its worth, I respected too many people in that crowd to bring my immature bull shit that day. That day was for feedback on cars, to see neat stuff, and to meet people.

This has been understood. But litlespic nor you answered my question. What did Shawn do to you litlespic that has made you despise him in such a horrible manner? Has he not talked to you on the net and tried to put things in the past? I just don't understand. As for him being asked to leave, What would have been done? Was he going to start a fight with him? If so what for? Shawn and I have talked and neither of us can come up with an answer why you are like this towards him.

I talked to you last night and MJs acting like I had no clue who you were. You seemed nice to me. But after calling out Shawn, I don't understand why YOU have this huge grudge against him. Its one thing to call someone out, and be cool with it. But the way you made it seem in your post was that MJ asked you not to communicate with Shawn for reasons that an argument would errupt. Has this thread or Shawns sig really upset you that bad?

What the HELL happened to People trying to get along? We are all on this board for one reason. We all like cars and like to make them faster. So WHY do we pick fights with one another? If we want things to go our way in the 757 and to stop being targeted shouldn't it become more of a family than a hate game?

If someone can avoid a big confrontation in person,to maintain the everything for the time being..most of the time they will. You cant expect someone to lash out,and start "talking shit" just because they have a problem with someone on drag..it doesnt work that way.

i remember when me and you werent getting along..and ultraspeed was supposedly trying to "fight" me...everybody had so much to say on drag..but as soon as everyone got out to the "Spot"...no one had anything to say to anyone..and i looked at you guys in the face multiple times. me personally..i dont see why he wouldnt make 700awhp..and why people are making such a big deal outta it. He made 630+ on an old setup,with a smaller turbo...whats 70 more horsepower,when you already have 630,and the parts/money to do it?? i mean you guys act like 700 cant be done,just because its shawn..i think thats retarded. I guess its just a question of tuning,because im pretty sure the block will hold up.but as far as challenging him to a dyno shootout..i think if you really want to prove whatever you are trying to prove..you need to take the shit to a track...your 300awhp vs. his 700.

First let me say... that is certainly the FASTEST sub 300hp car I have ever been in. I guess it makes sense for the type of Dyno it is tho... hell... I'll be lucky to put down 250.


Again, being on the outside looking in, I can see exactly where Brian is coming from (if in fact the information I got about all this is true). Like I said, claiming 700+awhp without a motor in the car is a bit premature to say the least. Whether or not he was actually claiming to have reached this goal is the matter here. His signature certainly led people to believe it and I was actually told that people have heard it come out of his mouth (which doesn't make it true, I didn't personally hear him say it). On top of that, to compound the problems, Shawn has claimed 600+awhp without a dyno sheet to prove that either, so, ASSuming all my facts or notions are correct, the capabilities of this car are nothing more than a figment of one man's imagination; or, worse, a down right lie if he knows what the car is actually laying down. That, in my book, would make him a ricer.

So, what comes to my mind, I ask you to ask yourself. If this was just some shmo off the street, how much shit would you give him? Seriously, not to mock him or anyone else, but if I were to be at the next meet and claim what he is (or has) without a sheet... How would you react? Does the fact that this guy owns a reputable shop around here play a factor in all this? It would seem as tho he's getting some sort of slight treatment for one reason or another...
