Ls1 swap for the Typhoon?
not saying i dont agree with you. i do belive a tig is better.. but, i have miged several sets of turbo headers. including the ones on my street car that are about 5 years old and seen about 60,000mi. thats also the rest of the turbo kit to. i have never had a cracked pipe or header. if a mig is all you had it would work imo. but if you have a tig to use it would turn out alot nicer for sure.
I'm not good enough to make art, but i can make function. My mig'd parts on my car seem to be getting me down the track ok. I will apply the same technology to my truck.
finishing up this thread. long story short i had the ball dropped on my by the oil pan and motor mount provider for the project, and pawned off all the sweet gear i got for CAMN Rx-7's newest project car.
the TY is out and running around again with a refreshed version of the v6 and turbo stuff. drove it to work today. I also ditched the 18's for some light 15"s and dr's on all 4
if the dyno was AWD i would bring it along with the T/A sat. night.
