If you're going for used, go for a 2010/2011/2012. Stay away from the revised body in 2013s. Its tempting because they upped the power but I can't get over the hideous front of the new ones.
Absolutely, I hate the new front ends with a burning passion (not that I can afford a 2013 anyway).
I think that Genesis Coupe is a pretty handsome car, and REALLY changed a lot of peoples perceptions of Hyundai. Done right, I would own one, no fucks given.

I still think they need to make one with that Tau V8 from the 5.0 R-spec.
If I had the funds to do it and the desire to keep the car...there's a company (can't remember the name of it for the life of me) that makes a subframe for the Genesis Coupe so that it can fit a LS1 under the hood.

Holy shit, that's crazy. Out of curiosity why don't you want to keep the car?
Also I did find the Rhys Millen project where they put a Tau V8 into a coupe.
Don't see why they can't be bothered to put that into production, but whatever.

That's awesome. But fuck working on that.
Also, I have been talking shit about the new coupe since I first saw the pictures. But I saw one in person yesterday, and it's a good looking car. It's an eye catcher for sure.

Need moar doors for moar whores.
I don't know why they don't either. The community seems to be split on the idea, too. Half of them say they would immediately trade in theirs for the V8 version and if they priced it slightly lower than the Mustang GT sales would be through the roof. The other half are faggots saying it would ruin weight distribution. That half also would never take the car to a track.

Shiiiit, replacing the #8 spark plug on a LS1 Camaro was such a pain in the dick too. I would always buy 9 spark plugs because I knew I'd break the #8 one.
IMO, a Gen Coupe lowered properly on the right wheels looks better than most any coupe (save high end ones) on the market. There are plenty of examples of them being the tits.
