by puting a crank made for a 302 347stroker motor into a 351w motor ..... the point of destroking a motor is increasing the rev rate and with a balanced crank it will out rev a 351 in every way.. we just tore the motor back apart a few weeks ago its being bored 50 over so it will be basicly a 351 agean :to be exact a 350.5: but the rev rate is the main reson for destroking it

*note* the only diff in a 351 and 302 is .5 of a stroke a 302 is a 3in a 351 is a 3.5 a 347 crank is 3.4 they both use a 4in bore

um a 347w is not a stroked 302 its a destroked 351w henc forth the reason for the w why would some one call a stroked 302 a 347w..... dont make sence cus the 302 was never made as a w but you think you know it all so hey what ever bro ill see you at the track this summer...... you wont miss me and my budy maybe he will give you a pice of that 347w....
THe 347 is a stroked 302, 347s are very popular stroker motors, as is the 331. Hey buddy, A 302 is a windsor the only reason they say 351w is to distinguish it from the 351c. Both the 351 and 302 are windsor motors. Also why in the hell would you detroke a motor by 4 cubic inches, seems pointless to me, but whatever. And Id like a piece of your buddies car, track opens soon, so Ill be there. Its all in fun though. Later
