its nothing like a factory ecu. you can just set it and forget it. it really becomes over whelming fast for someone just trying to learn it(aka me) there SOOOO much that you can change. the factory ecu will only let you screw up so much. on the other hand, it CAN be very limited.

do tell as to why ems must constantly be "tweaked".
Hmm...think of it like this. The stock ecu has thousands upon thousands of hours of R&D setup for it to account for different weather changes, altitudes, fuels, knock, everything.

the AEM is a blank slate. Its like pickin up a piece of paper and building a house with it. You have to do everything yourself, and every car is different. You can get a car very close on the first tune, but its still going to take a lot of messing with to get it perfect. NO shop in the country can get one spot on the first time, they can get it very close, but not perfect.

A lot of people do not realize you can get the ems perfect, they think what they got was how it acts, and thats that. Not true.

And sorry, I'm not trying to be a dick, I just don't like it when people are pushy, and it was looking for you guys to seem that way.

I've never had a problem. Usually when nothing breaks during tuning it takes about 30 minutes on the street and 1-2 hours dyno time. Some didn't even need the street tune. But that's when nothing goes wrong, which rarely happens on a big buildup.
