My daily will soon be a '98 S10 4-cyl/5-speed, no CD player, with ugly ass tribal style graphics down the side and a mis-matched front fender! hahaha woot!

 

Its a cheap beater but it might be time for it to go because if I keep it any longer, I'll dump too much money into it.

 

Gotcha. Yeah, i'm looking forward to picking up my roomate S10 for my daily. I'm gonna put a cd player in, drop the rear on blocks, heat/cut the front springs, and use it as my wannabe mini truck dd

I have the Slowbalt up for sale.....haven't driven it in a month or more. I'm driving a '98 S10 2WD 5-speed now. Mismatched body panels.....no CD player or rear view mirror.....and when its cold it takes several attempts to get it started. Its beast. I plan on picking up an AP2 S2000 or perhaps a 1st gen RX-8 once the Cobalt is sold. My interests in the automotive world have shifted a bit, and unfourtunately i've fallen hard for the trendy hellaflush/stance scene, so expect my next car to be trendy, too low to drive, and haterific.

I also write for Tuner Maneuver Magazine (http://www.tunermaneuvermag.com) on the side now....non-profit for now....but I do it for enjoyment anyways.

I'm still living in my condo in dreaded Bealeton.....but I plan on moving sometime next year into a townhouse in Gainesville/Haymarket, so i'll be re-joining anyone who is still in the area.

Hey everybody. I also live in Gainesville, in the Glenkirk estates off of Linton Hall. I used to live across 29 from Vint Hill in Broad Run down Rt. 600. I like this area but yea traffic sucks. I currently work in sterling so the commute down 66 is crappy but I carpool so HOV BABY. Ive lived around this area for a long time now. Do you guys ever meet up anywhere for car shows or anything. This area is starting to get boring to me. I cant wait for the warm weather to bring my car out of storage.

 

I live in Bealeton now, and I typically head to Fredericksburg anytime I wanna do stuff nowadays. I'm in Gainesville once in a blue moon though. But at the moment, asides from doing alot of automotive journalism, i'm more or less "out" of the car scene. My car hasn't been driven for over a month.....but hopefully once its sold and I can start on a new project i'll be back in the game. But until then.....i'm just a lurker who talks alot about cars but doesn't really do anything with a car of his own....lol.

 

Yea I also kind of fell out of the car scene. and even though I still have my car I wanna start a new project even though mine is not "finished" but I get bored with it sometimes and feel that no car I ever own will be "finished". Either way I am always looking for a reason to bring it out of storage.
