Trellis has great desserts, but the rest leaves something to be desired. But yeah, when I was in my first year of law school and my spirit was not yet broken, I had a slice of the death by chocolate and some tea in between classes once. I think I gave the waiter like a 50% tip because of how good it was lol. Can you buy their cakes whole though? Did not know that. Come to think of it, I think you can buy whole cakes at 2nd Street Cafe too, can't you? Eh, oh well. Mom (and I) likes cakes that has both fruit and chocolate in them, so I think the Black Forest cake will do well. I've booked dinner at the Williamsburg Inn and my bro is going to be here too, and I bought a bottle of Chanel perfume, so I think I'm quite pleased with my effort. Just have to remember to get a card tomorrow.

yea, she knows her shit too. She was under him at the Trellis, and is a very hard worker [something that comes rare where I work at]. She just doesn't have the time to do everything that she wants to do because of kids, but that is a part of getting older and life.
